New mask mandate in air and maritime transportation to the Republic of Panama

Executive Decree No. 107 of July 13, 2022, terminates the mandatory use of masks in international air and maritime transport that disembark or transit in airports and ports of the Republic of Panama.


The use of masks will be optional for air and maritime companies, as well as passengers and crew members of these, while these are in the national territory.


The mandatory use of masks in aircrafts transiting between airports in the national territory remains in place.


These new measures are in effect as of July 13, 2022.
