Patton, Moreno & Asvat, represented by our partner Belisario Porras, attended the State Capital Group (SCG) Annual Meeting at The Watergate Hotel in Washington earlier this month.

The event featured addresses by Poyner Spruill associate and Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, 2018 Harper Lee Prize winner Cindy Tobisman and famed investigative journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.

The confab also featured a series of highly informative sessions on lateral hiring, the state of the legal market, the MeToo movement, smart contracts, and trade policy, as well as a panel of chief legal officers from HUB International, the Society for Human Resource Management and Gridsmart Technologies.
