Enrique has more than 18 years of experience in all types of domestic and international corporate, commercial and maritime matters. In his practice, he acts for institutional clients, shipowners and ship operating companies regarding the Panamanian registration of second-hand vessels, new buildings, coordination and preparation of standard security documentation, purchase and/or sale of vessels, registration of ships and naval mortgages.
He has also been engaged in the creation of companies and private foundations and trusts and estate planning issues covering family matters, estates and private property, international private client and private client affairs tailored to clients’ requirements. Involved in secured and unsecured financing transactions.

Enrique is also actively involved in pro bono activities and acts as trustee of Panama Wildlife Conservation and active fundraiser for Crisis (a UK charity).
He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Law and Political Sciences from the Universidad de Panamá; an LL.M. in Banking and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); attended the Introduction to English Law, Summer Programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and several courses on International Tax Law and International Treaties at the IBFD in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Member of the Panama Bar Association; the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
